UC Berkeley News featured the CIRCLES Consortium’s landmark traffic experiment, the largest open-track test of AI-equipped vehicles ever conducted. The experiment deployed 100 vehicles on I-24 in Nashville to test whether machine learning algorithms could reduce phantom traffic jams in real-world conditions.
