Kate Sanborn is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University, where she conducts research at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS). She joined Vanderbilt’s graduate program in 2024 after completing her undergraduate studies, and her work spans topics in systems, automation, and software-driven technologies.

At ISIS, Kate contributes to research that explores innovative approaches in software-integrated systems and their real-world applications. She has co-authored research on modeling and tooling within robotics and system launch workflows.
